With the Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 R2 solution, Halton Manufacturing has eliminated redundant data entry and reduced the number of errors from manual processing. Through the customized RoleTailored client in Microsoft Dynamics NAV, employees can easily view information related to their specific roles in Role Centers, which provide a single integrated view of the information and activities most relevant to their roles.
Whether for a bookkeeper, a warehouse worker, or a purchaser, each user profile in the RoleTailored client has its own Role Center, which has been designed to help the user or users as they perform their particular job.
Previously, managers within Halton Manufacturing were accessing information from different sources within the company. Now with Role Center, Halton employees can quickly access information and tasks on which to focus for that particular day. This visibility has improved the speed and accuracy of decision making.
