Healthcare Innovations Solutions Day – Bangkok

InBangkok, 110 people registered for the Microsoft Healthcare Roadshow includinga lot of senior decision makers from the health sector in Thailand, among themsenior executives from the Bangkok Hospital Group, Bumrungrad InternationalHospital, the Ministry of Public Health, Samitivej Hospitals, and many more. Wegot very strong interest in Office 365 and already have 10 qualified leads thatthe teams are working on in both EPG and SMS&P. And that is just from thebooth; we have more coming from the event organizer.

We followed up the day with great meetings withboth Bumrungrad International and the Bangkok Hospital Group. Bumrungrad wantsto go big on Microsoft Dynamics CRM and has decided on Windows 8 as the basisfor its mobility strategy. Microsoft is currently working with Orion Health ona new app for patient registration to connect to the Bumrungrad’s hospitalinformation system.

We metwith Bangkok Hospital Group the following day and we have identified seven keyareas for engagement. These range from identity management integration with itsHR systems right through to looking at the potential for HealthVault to connectthe patient information for the 30 hospitals in the group. Bangkok HospitalGroup is growing so fast it is currently opening up a hospital a month anddoesn’t see that expansion stopping anytime soon.
