Any institution that is a Microsoft IT Academy member can apply to become a testing center and offer Microsoft Certification exams on its campus. When your institution becomes a testing center, your students and educators gain easy access to certification exams and you enjoy new revenue streams.
Benefits of becoming a testing center:
Convenience for your students to get certified at the school where they already take classes, eliminating the need to travel to another testing center off site or in another city.
Flexibility to set your own testing schedules and offer students faster access to their testing results.
Increased employability for your students who gain certifications in addition to completing their degree programs. Becoming a testing center will increase awareness of certification opportunities among your students and is likely to result in more student certifications.
New revenue streams for your institution, which will have the opportunity to supplement revenue with exam delivery.
Cost savings through access to academic pricing exams for students, educators, and staff, without adding any startup fees to become a testing center.
Setting up a testing center is simple. The hardware requirements are similar to most typical classroom labs, so in most cases you can use existing equipment. The providers supply the software, online registration system, updates, and technical support at no additional charge.
