nice smartphone at a reasonable price, changed from iphone because of additional sd card and up to date offline maps. Even thought about upgrading to Lumia 640. Now Microsoft stopped the possibility to store the offline maps on sd card without telling their customers. I am out of memory with just two countries. This is a deal breaker for me. Guess I am on my way back to the Iphone.

  • No FM Headphone?

    Overall Rating
    ★★★★★ ★★★★★

I fell in love with this phone on the internet, but I am disappointed now I have it. No head phone came with it for the FM radio; a Chinese language booklet came no English; unable to enter phone contacts; unable to block a phone number (blocked calls screen comes up but unresponsive window). I shopped around and finally settled with this $99 phone from T-Mobile. This Windows phone is packed with all the features I need for my daily life. I use it to call my family, check email, Facebook and weather everyday. It is very easy for me to read the Word and Excel documents in the email. The battery life is awesome. One charge can last for 5 days for my normal use. Our old Samsung phone had to be charged everyday. I added 16 GB memory chip to expand the ram from 512 MB and it works very well. Some people complaint about lacking the front face camera. It is not an issue for me.

  • A good product, considering the price

For the price you'll pay for it, has much more features than you can imagine. Easy to use, and with a good battery life, the only problem is that one related to the apps of windows phone.

Got this to temporarily replace my Lumia 920, think it's nearly as good (only less complete). Love the Windows Phone platform (and have experience with both iOS and Android).

I have had this phone for a few months now and I have had nothing but great times and easy access. This is my first smart phone and I am very pleased with it. No problems at all. The only change I might make is to add another camera lens for selfies.

I work out and about, in the field this Lumia is everything I would want in a phone. a year or so ago I used only I phone and I pad mac book all that. but after a mishap with my iPhone I got a cheep lumia 535 just to tide me over. a year later i'm a Lumia fan. We changed over to PC's and Lumia 635 when it came out. we have never been happier, from here drive to office 365 and one note our pc's and phones are always together. And the best part is it didn't cost us thousands. Now were building our own apps chilling to xbox music and keeping clear of traffic jams along the way. lovin our lumia's and windows phone.

  • Getting this phone is a no brainier.

    Overall Rating
    ★★★★★ ★★★★★

So, coming from a feature phone to my 630 has been quite an enjoyable experience. I've been using an iPhone 4 without a SIM card for the better part of 2 years. Yes, I had to carry around 2 phones to enjoy the benefits of both worlds. So I'm familiar with the iOS operating system. But I can't justify the cost of buying a newer iPhone. And the 4's screen is just to small for me to be practical anymore. Hence why I didn't just buy a SIM with some carrier. Now on to the things that I love about my 630. Live Tiles; this is a brilliant idea. And no other phone has it. Being able to resize and place the tiles wherever I want is a convenience that I don't want to give up. Placing a photo behind the tiles makes most of them go transparent which is a nifty idea all by itself. You get to see the tiles "do their thing" and enjoy the background photo at the same time. I love the size of the phone, although I wish it had a 5 inch screen. But the sheer affordability probably dictated the physical dimensions. Those dimensions also locked in the size of the battery at just over 1800mAh, but this is enough for me to get through a full day. The built-in speaker is awesome for playing media. Very loud and crisp. Here Drive+ is a wonderful navigation app along with Here Maps. This "Do it all" nav. app came with the Windows Phone OS. No need to purchase one in the store. Cortana so far has been very useful. I ask her to provide me with driving directions, alarms, calendar entries, appointments, etc. The built in e-mail clients are easy to set up and use. I regularly use the MSN health and fitness app to track my steps and caloric intake. The camera is pretty decent, IMO, and Nokia has outfitted it with manual controls; something that my iPhone never had. Call quality and microphone quality are top notch from all the people I've spoken to. That might have something to do with my carrier or not. It's on AT&T's network. This phone only has 8gb of internal storage and 512mb of onboard ram. I've put all the apps that I have wanted on it and I still have 1.75gb left. I think that the phone is optimized pretty well for the lack of ram as there have only been a few instances where a program hangs or lags. I'm very happy with the overall cutomizability that Windows 8.1 allows. I can be very happy with this phone long term. For what this phone costs, it does very well across the board.
