Some Intel wireless LAN drivers have been identified to cause blue screens. The recommended course of action is to check from the Intel driver download pages that you have the latest drivers available for your adapter.

The latest drivers for your wireless LAN adapter may be found from the Intel support pages: http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/wireless

In situations where it is not possible to update the driver of your wireless LAN adapter, a workaround would be to disable 802.11n. To do this you need to configure the wireless LAN adapter properties:

  1. Open the Control Panel
  2. Click on Device Manager
  3. Expand the section on Network adapters
  4. Double click on the wireless LAN adapter
  5. Click the Advanced tab
  6. Select the 802.11n mode
  7. Change the Value to be Disabled
