Important: To prevent damage to the SIM card, always remove the battery before you insert or remove the card.

Important: Do not use a mini-UICC SIM card, also known as a micro-SIM card, a micro-SIM card with an adapter, or a SIM card that has a mini-UICC cutout (see figure) in this device. A micro-SIM card is smaller than the standard SIM card. This device does not support the use of micro-SIM cards and use of incompatible SIM cards may damage the card or the device, and may corrupt data stored on the card.dual-punch-out.jpg

A SIM card may be already inserted in the device. If not, do the following:

  1. Open the cover of the SIM card slot.sim-installation-1.jpg

  2. Insert a SIM card in the SIM card slot. Make sure the contact area of the card is facing up. Push the card in.sim-installation-2.jpg

  3. Close the cover of the SIM card slot. Make sure the cover is properly closed.sim-installation-3.jpg

If the SIM card is not properly in place, the device can only be used in the offline profile.
