You can now play Carcassonne, the award-winning tile-based board game, on your Windows Phone with a new mobile app from Microsoft Studios. In Carcassonne, which is named after the famous fortified medieval town in southern France, players take turns laying down tiles to create a constantly evolving landscape of cities, roads, cloisters and fields, and strategically deploying their followers—knights, monks, thieves and farmers—in an effort to score the most points and win the game. Because the Carcassonne landscape is never the same twice, every game is a new experience.
