Your Playtest study will take place at either our Studio D or Building 92 locations, which are across the parking lot from each other.

From SR 520 Eastbound:

• Exit SR 520 at NE 40th St. At the stoplight stay in the left or middle lane.

• Turn left onto NE 40th St and proceed to the stoplight at 148th Ave. NE

• Turn left at 148th Ave. NE

• Continue on 148th Ave. NE to NE 36th St.

• Turn left on NE 36th St. and follow the signs for Building 92 and Studio D

• Park in one of the Visitor spaces or the reserved Microsoft User Research spaces. As an alternative, you can park in the parking garage that services Studio D and the surrounding buildings (follow the signs for the parking garage)

Studio D:

• Enter through the main doors and check in with the Receptionist or a member of the Playtest team in the lobby of Studio D.

Building 92:

• The Studios User Research lobby entrance is at the south end of building 92.

• You will see a concrete staircase, covered by a large slanted metal roof, that leads in two different directions. This staircase is divided by a concrete wall.

• DO NOT follow the stairs on the right side that lead upwards toward the main building 92 lobby space.

• DO follow the stairs on the left side downwards toward the open concrete patio space. This patio space is just outside of the Studios User Research main entrance.

• The main entrance is at the bottom of the left staircase, on your right hand side.

• Upon arrival, Studios User Research testing staff will be available to greet you.

Driving Information:

Arrival Information
Since most of the Playtest sessions are held during non-business hours the first set of doors to the building will probably be locked. The Playtest team will be waiting in the lobby to let you in. If you have any problems when you arrive, use the outside phone to call the lobby at 425.707.3381 (or extension x73381). If you arrive late and miss the start of the session please notify your Study Coordinator to reschedule. Sessions start promptly at the designated time, so plan to arrive early.

Traffic and Parking
Traffic congestion is VERY likely, so allow 20 extra minutes as a precaution. If you park in a Visitor or Microsoft User Research parking space during business hours (M-F, 8:00AM - 5:00PM) be sure to register your vehicle license plate number with the receptionist. If no visitor spaces are available you may park in the parking garage below Studio D.

Public Transportation
Several bus routes offer convenient access to Microsoft. The Overlake Transit Center is located across the 520 freeway from Studio D and Building 92 and is accessible by sidewalk from NE 40th St. Contact King County Metro at 206-553-3000 for route information, or on the web http://metro.kingcounty.gov
