Trojan:Win32/Gupboot.A is a trojan that monitors certain online card-game applications and sends screenshots and information about your computer to a remote server. It also overwrites the MBR, which we detect as Trojan:DOS/Gupboot.A.

Trojan:DOS/Gupboot.A is a trojan that overwrites your computer's master boot record (MBR). The trojan is dropped by Trojan:Win32/Gupboot.A.

The overwritten MBR causes your computer to use a malicious copy of "explorer.exe" that is installed by Trojan:Win32/Gupboot.A.
