Summary
Trojan:JS/Redirector.J is detection for specific JavaScript contained within Web pages. This JavaScript trojan may be injected into an HTML page via an SQL injection attack, or may be present on a malicious Web site, and may redirect users to Web sites other than expected. It is also possible for an attacker to craft HTML-based e-mail messages containing the script.
Manual removal is not recommended for this threat. It may be possible to prevent vulnerable ActiveX controls from running in Internet Explorer by modifying the data value of the Compatibility Flags DWORD value for the class identifier (CLSID) of the ActiveX control.
