  • Each license covers up to 2 physical processors and the right to manage an unlimited number of virtual operating system environments.
 

System Center 2012 Standard Edition

 
System Center 2012 Standard Edition provides an easy and economical option for managing non-virtualized and lightly virtualized servers:
 
  • Includes all System Center 2012 server management features and capabilities.
  • Each license covers up to 2 physical processors and the right to manage up to 2 virtual operating system environments.
  • Multiple System Center 2012 Standard licenses may be assigned to the same server to increase the number of operating system environments that may be managed.
