Microsoft Project Conference 2012 - Unleashing the Value of Earned Value: Applying Schedule and Cost Controls to Measure Project Performance

PC335 - Partner: UMT - Can Earned Value Management be “done” in Microsoft Project? All of the calculations are there. The data shows up in reports. Yet, why are so many vendors offering supplemental tools to enhance Microsoft Project’s native EVM capabilities? This session will answer that question and map available functionality to organizational needs – including an overview of how third party tools such as UMT’s Project Essentials add to the equation.

This was a very helpful presentation, Andrew. I was interested in the macros you used around the 1:02:00 mark. You said they were documented and available on msdn, but I've searched and searched and cannot find them. I was particularly interested in the one that prevents a user from deleting a baseline task. Do you have a link?
