Microsoft Codename "Data Transfer" is an easy-to-use Web application to move your data into SQL Azure or Windows Azure Blob storage. It enables you to do the following in a simple way:
Import a CSV or Excel file into a SQL Azure table
Upload a file to your Windows Azure blob storage account
"Data Transfer" is an early prototype for solving the problem of connecting your data to the cloud: no matter where it is, how much you have, or what format it’s in.
We already received a lot of great feedback. Top rated on our feature voting forum was the ability to choose whether to transfer data into a new or existing SQL Azure table. We have revised our service so that in the case of an existing table, you can decide whether you want to update or replace the data.
