If you are currently running Windows 8 Enterprise and would like to move to Windows 8.1 Enterprise:
Download your Windows 8.1 Enterprise media from the Volume Licensing Service Center (VLSC). Please note that Windows 8.1 Enterprise cannot be updated from the Windows Store; it can only updated using media obtained from the VLSC. Learn more about Windows 8.1 general availability.

If you are currently running Windows 8.1 Enterprise Preview and would like to move to Windows 8.1 Enterprise:
Download the media from your Volume Licensing Service Center (VLSC) and perform an in place upgrade. Please note that this update process will only migrate the data on the device. Customers with existing Microsoft Software Assurance for Windows are able to download Windows 8.1 Enterprise edition through the Volume License Service Center (VLSC), allowing you to test, pilot and begin adopting Windows 8.1 Enterprise within your organization. Volume License customers without Software Assurance are able to purchase Windows 8.1 Pro through Microsoft Volume License Resellers.
