Sue Bevington

CVP – Human Resources, SMSG Worldwide

Sue Bevington is currently the Corporate Vice President of HR for SMSG Worldwide. In this role she partners with Kevin Turner and his team to help drive SMSG’s business priorities through our people. A key part of this is leading the 500+ HR professionals around the globe who support all of SMSG’s organizations worldwide. Sue joined Microsoft in 2004 and prior to her current position, served as the HR GM for Microsoft North America.

Prior to joining Microsoft she spent her career in HR at Monsanto Company and Solutia Inc. Sue first interned with Monsanto while in graduate school and joined the company on a full-time basis upon graduation. At Monsanto she held a variety of field positions in Human Resources. Monsanto spun into two separate publicly traded companies in 1997. At the time of the spin off she joined the new company, Solutia Inc. where she continued to lead HR efforts for Solutia’s largest chemical plant. While at Monsanto and Solutia she worked throughout the organization in a variety of field roles in Iowa, Louisiana, New Jersey and Massachusetts. She then went into a corporate role in St. Louis where she had HR generalist responsibilities along with overall corporate responsibility for EEO/AAP, Staffing, and Diversity. She was also involved in acquisition work. She then took a role in the UK heading up HR for a start-up business in Pharmaceutical Services. Ultimately, she led the HR organization for Solutia as the Vice President of HR until joining Microsoft.

Sue has a liberal arts undergraduate from Graceland University with majors in Business Administration and Psychology and a Master’s in Management and Organizations from The University of Iowa. Her hobbies include Reading, Traveling, and spending time with her family.
