Microsoft's Vision for the Enterprise
Microsoft has an exciting vision for Enterprise Social: we want to help companies transform their business with Enterprise Social to achieve their strategic goals. Social capabilities must be a natural part of how you work, seamlessly woven into the tools you use every day to get your work done.

Microsoft and the Eller MBA program at the University of Arizona jointly developed the Social Collaboration Progression Model that outlines six stages of social collaboration and their triggers, obstacles, and impacts.
The summit will follow the four big themes that are shaping how IT is transforming the business landscape: Mobility, Cloud, Big Data and Social, sharing real-world insights including examples from organizations pioneering business innovation through technology.
In 2013, Ipsos, an independent market research company, conducted a survey of 9,908 information workers across 32 countries. The survey’s purpose was to gather information on how employees use enterprise social tools in the workplace, as well as how the adoption and use of these solutions varies across businesses of different sizes.
The Virtual CIO Summit is coming online on October 8th at 14:45 GMT. Join the live discussion with other business leaders and expert speakers and panelists as we discuss major trends affecting business today including big data, mobile and the cloud. Don’t miss our keynote by global security expert Michael Leiter during the morning session!
