Which one's real? Be Sure it's Legal

It's easy to tell... if you know what you're looking for

Microsoft® is combating counterfeits of its hardware products with new and innovative security features. All Microsoft Mouse products are now equipped with a unique hologram on the base.

This new security hologram replaces the previous security feature: a Certificate of Authenticity on the cord. There have been large seizures of counterfeit Microsoft mice in recent years by customs officers in several European countries including Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands and Poland.

The distinctive hologram is easy to recognise and very hard to copy. The new security hologram is located on the bottom of the mouse. It reveals the words 'Microsoft' and 'GENUINE' when tilted in the light.
