• Silverlight 3 beta announcement including more than 50 new features and 20 new controls, support for running Silverlight applications out of the browser, dramatic video quality, performance improvements, and features that dramatically improve developer productivity.
• Official release of Windows Internet Explorer 8, Microsoft’s most standards compliant browser. Internet Explorer 8 provides enhanced security, performance and includes features such as Accelerators and Web Slices making it easier for developers to reach beyond the page.
