Storing, consuming and retrieving data is essential to any application. In this session you will see a variety of scenarios in which Microsoft Silverlight can use local and remote data stores. Topics include isolated storage, XML, and relational data scenarios.

Bill Lodin is Vice President of IT Mentors, a high-end, customized training and curriculum and development company. His experience includes C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET, Java, J2EE, WebSphere, and WebLogic. This background helps him provide an objective, real-world perspective on the practical application of programming technologies in the business environment. Bill’s experience comes from his work on application development projects in the financial services industry, and he is the author of several training courses on .NET and Java programming and portal technologies. Bill holds an MCSD.NET certification as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from UCLA.
