The Microsoft Silverlight platform offers a complete solution for providing rich animation in your applications. In this session you will learn the fundamentals of animation in Silverlight – you will see how you can specify animations declaratively in XAML, you will understand the different types of animations, and you will learn how to create and control animations in code.

Bill Lodin is Vice President of IT Mentors, a high-end, customized training and curriculum and development company. His experience includes C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET, Java, J2EE, WebSphere, and WebLogic. This background helps him provide an objective, real-world perspective on the practical application of programming technologies in the business environment. Bill’s experience comes from his work on application development projects in the financial services industry, and he is the author of several training courses on .NET and Java programming and portal technologies. Bill holds an MCSD.NET certification as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from UCLA.
