Event Overview

In this session, we discuss deployment features and tools for the Windows Server 2008 operating system. First, we look at the new features of Windows Server 2008 that are already present when you deploy the operating system. These new features include Windows Imaging Format (WIM), Windows Deployment Services role, and the Windows Automated Installation Kit (Windows AIK). We also look at more complex deployment strategies that involve additional deployment tools, such as the Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager operating system deployment feature pack (OSD FP). Finally, we close this presentation by talking about deployment best practices.
