TechNet Webcast: Understanding Group Policy (Part 1 of 3) (Level 200)

Group Policy in Microsoft Windows Server 2003 has almost 1,000 configurable settings. In this first webcast in a three-part series, we begin by guiding you through the terms and concepts used in the Group Policy environment. We explain what Group Policy is and the benefits it offers, what Group Policy Objects (GPOs) are, and how GPOs are applied to users and computers. We also describe how to create test and staging environments and show you how to use the two most common tools available to manage Group Policy, the Group Policy Management Console (GPMC) and the Group Policy Object Editor.
