Individuals can attend both Microsoft Tech·Ed North America 2008 Developers (June 3-6) and Microsoft Tech·Ed North America 2008 IT Professionals (June 10-13). Attendees who register for and attend both events at the full registration price of US$1,995 are eligible for a 10 percent discount (US$400), in the form of a refund to be applied after June 14, 2008.

Refunds will only be applied to the Tech·Ed IT Professionals registration and will use the original payment method in the registration record. This discount cannot be combined with any other discount code, including sponsor and exhibitor codes, and does not apply to cancellations or substitutions.

  If you need to register multiple attendees, you can create a group manager account. This account allows you to register, modify, and cancel the registrations that you create. To use this feature, you will need to create your group manager account before registering others.

All cancellations must be received online by going to Complete, change, or cancel an existing registration, or print a receipt or by sending an e-mail message to TechEd2008ITPros@microsoft.crgevents.com by the dates indicated.

Cancellations
A full refund minus a US$100 processing fee will be issued when a cancellation is received by 11:59pm Pacific Time on Monday, April 28, 2008. Refunds will not be issued after Monday, April 28, 2008.

• Cancellations of travel and hotel reservations are the responsibility of the registrant.
• Hotel reservations made through the registration Web site are automatically canceled when the corresponding event registration is canceled. If the cancellation takes place within 72 hours of the event, the person canceling should contact the hotel directly to confirm that the reservation has been canceled.
• Cancellation requests can be sent by e-mail to TechEd2008ITPros@microsoft.crgevents.com or faxed to +1 (206) 441-6369.

Substitutions
Substitutions are available online. Visit Complete, change, or cancel an existing registration, or print a receipt. After entering your username and password, you can enter the name of a substitute. If you do not see the option to substitute online, please contact the Registration Team at TechEd2008ITPros@microsoft.crgevents.com. Another person can substitute for an active registration for the same registration fee.

Substitution requirements

• The original attendee should not cancel the registration.
• Payment: No additional action is required if the new registrant will keep the same payment method. If the payment method is changing, the new attendee must provide payment prior to issuing a refund to the original attendee. To change the method of payment, please e-mail TechEd2008ITPros@microsoft.crgevents.com to have someone contact you for new payment information.
• Hotel: If a hotel reservation exists in the record, it will be automatically transferred to the new registrant. Please confirm all hotel dates and preferences carefully to ensure that they match the requirements of the new registrant. The new registrant will be responsible for any hotel cancellation charges or no-show fees if the reservation is not properly updated. Please refer to the hotel cancellation policy in the hotel confirmation or on the hotel page for additional details. The Registration Team will facilitate the transfer of hotel reservations until Wednesday, May 21, 2008. Beginning Thursday May 22, 2008, the attendee must contact the hotel directly with reservation changes.
• Registrants are responsible for canceling or changing travel reservations.

Exclusive registration will be open 7:00–9:30am Eastern Time on Monday, June 9, 2008, for our attendees who selected Pre-Conference Seminars. These select, early registration hours are available for our attendees to check in before their chosen Hands-on Lab or seminar begins.

As a courtesy to Tech·Ed IT Professionals attendees, we offer the opportunity for registered attendees to buy a discounted guest pass at the rate of US$110 for each pass. Guest passes can be purchased during the registration process or on-site in the registration area.
