Microsoft Forefront Security for Exchange Server was honored with the award for "Global Excellence in E-Mail Security Solution," and the Internet Security & Acceleration (ISA) 2006 Server was honored for "Global Excellence in Firewall Solution." The 2007 Readers' Choice Awards have been announced and Information Security and SearchSecurity.com recognize the best security technology with the Readers' Choice awards. Security products in 15 categories, including emerging technologies, were voted on by more than 800 Information Security readers. Antigen, which has been rebranded and wrapped into Microsoft's Forefront line of security products, finished second in the messaging category. The software was awarded the silver award for its layered, multiple scan engine approach and interoperability with Microsoft Exchange. Microsoft ISA Server took first place in the Internet Security and Acceleration category.
