	Weapon and Damage Profile Editor The Weapon and Damage Profile Editor will help you build accurate weapon and damage profiles for aircraft in Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator. Using this utility, you can modify the default damage profile to: Add, remove or modify guns on aircraft and vehicles Place guns accurately on your aircraft Add, remove or modify aircraft systems and damage models Modify damage profiles for vehicles and buildings Control damage effects such as fire and smoke Note: You must have Microsoft Excel 97 to use the Damage Profile Editor. The Damage Profile Editor is not supported by Microsoft Product Support. The Damage Profile Editor is available for download as a Zip file. The following files are included in the Zip: Excel spreadsheet files detailing the Damage Profile for each respective plane in Combat Flight Simulator (objectname-Damage.xls). Damage Profile Editor.xls—This file is the Damage Profile Editor interface; use it to edit damage profiles. The Damage Profile Editor also serves as an index to the library of damage profiles contained in Combat Flight Simulator. Damage Profile Ref.rtf—This file contains descriptions of the fields in both the Damage Profile Editor and damage spreadsheets (objectname-Damage.xls). Damage_Profile_Tutorial.rtf—This file is intended only as an introduction to the basic concepts behind the complex process of editing Combat Flight Simulator damage profiles, and should be read in conjunction with the information in Damage_Profile_Ref.rtf. Please note: The Damage Profile Ref.rtf file and Damage_Profile_Tutorial.rtf contain essential instructions on how to modify damage profiles. This is the only help and instructional material provided for the Damage Profile Editor.
