Combat Flight Simulator Mission Editor
Build your own Combat Flight Simulator missions and campaigns using the newly released Mission Editor. The Mission Editor is an Excel spreadsheet with fields for all the mission and campaign parameters. You enter the mission data into the spreadsheets, click a macro button, and the mission file is generated, ready to fly for yourself or to send to your friends.
Note: You must have Microsoft Excel 97 to use the Mission Editor. The Mission Editor is not supported by Microsoft Product Support.
The Mission Editor is available for download as a Zip file. The following files are included in the Zip:
- Mission Editor.xls—This spreadsheet contains the cells and macros that are used to build mission files (.mis files) for Combat Flight Simulator.
- Bob3_5_RAF.xls—This is a sample mission spreadsheet. This file is provided as an example, and for use as a template for new missions.
- Mission Editor.rtf—This file contains descriptions of the fields in both the Mission Editor and Mission spreadsheets.
Please note, the Mission Editor.rtf file contains essential instructions on how to modify missions. This is the only help and instructional material provided for the Mission Editor.
