Pillar of Autumn - The Pillar of Autumn is a servicable cruiser, veteran of many tours
of duty. An inconspicuous home for the launch of the SPARTAN-II project, but still
a vessel with few grave weaknesses, it was deliberately chosen for SPARTAN-II because
of its relatively low profile. Its labyrinthine corridors and ventshafts make for
a chaotic fighting environment.

Covenant Ship - Alien vessels hold many surprises due to the relatively inconsistent
nature of our intelligence on them. Given what we can tell from the patterns of
the Covenant's defenses of their craft, the likelihood of their defending something
of shattering importance is not far-fetched. Weaponry, lighting, architecture, equipment,
and everything else about fighting aboard Covenant vessels must be taken into account
as a variable at the start of any engagement there.

Snow - Similar to snowy environments back home on Earth, the snow on Halo makes
for nasty handling conditions for our vehicles, both land and air. Our weapons have
thus far stood up well to the severity of the conditions, but we know very little
yet about how well Covenant weaponry performs in the snow. Early indications lead
us to believe that their weaponry may be superior to our own in these conditions,
if there is any advantage for either technology.

Land - Numerous tactical advantages await the alert fighter in the canyons
and forests of Halo. Cliff faces even offer some excellent sniping nests, and ambush
points abound on this godforsaken ring. For every advantage, though, an equally
distinct disadvantage applies to the opponent who didn't get there first, so don't
be the last to gain the upper ground.

Beach - Fighting in the water should have no effect on your MJOLNIR armor. Beachheads
since the dawn of warfare have been hellishly exposed LZs but taking them is ever
crucial, and we'll need them to take control of this ring. Deployments in these
areas tend to be especially numerous according to the data we have been able to
gather so far.
