Missiles

V2V2 - The best-known guided missile of World War II was probably Germany's V-2, which appears in Rise of Nations in the Modern Age. All missiles in the game are particularly useful in destroying buildings. In addition to their range, their primary asset is that the only way to destroy missiles is to destroy Silos before the next one launches. Once a missile is in the air, it is going to hit something, and there is nothing your opponent can do about it.

Missiles can also go over mountains and forests, and over water, and of course do not need to return to their base.

Strategic BomberCruise Missile - The Cruise Missile is the bigger, badder (and even cooler-looking) upgrade to the V2. Packed with enough conventional warhead to take down a Fortress in one shot, the Cruise Missile lets you wipe out building after building without killing your own troops in the shock wave of a nuke blast. Build silos and start targeting and launching. This is especially satisfying when your opponent is in the same building and within earshot.

Missile Silo

Don't let too many of these pile up across the border from you. Just one can be trouble.
