You will find your Windows Product Key in one of the following locations, depending on how you purchased your Windows software:
Windows came preinstalled on a PC: look for the Certificate of Authenticity (COA) on the body of your PC.
Windows came preinstalled on a laptop PC: look for the COA on the underside of the laptop.
Windows came preinstalled on a tablet PC or other small device: look for the COA beneath the battery.
Windows was purchased at a retail outlet, separate from a PC: look for the orange Product Key label on the installation CD case.
