If you have not received your email confirmation after completing your order, we recommend checking your junk folders for an email from service@microsoft.com.

Where’s My Product Key?

Depending on your location and your method of payment, your product key may be found in one of the following places:

  1. Inside your DVD case if you purchased a Vista edition that is different from your current non-genuine OS;
  2. On the Microsoft Order Confirmation page;
  3. In the email sent to the address you used to place your order;
  4. Via a link in your email to an order status page using Passport (you may have created a Passport account when you placed your order.);
  5. On the packing slip that arrived with your media;
  6. And finally, if you still don’t have your product key, you may contact the Order Help Desk by using the drop-down menu below to choose your country.

If you have other issues with your order, you may also use the information below to contact your local customer service team. Please keep in mind that depending on your location, receipt of your media could take up to 4 weeks.
