Yeti (also known as the Abominable Snowman) lives in the Himalayas at an altitude of 5,000 to 7,000 m. He’s almost two and a half meters tall and leaves distinctive tracks in the snow which regularly prompt wild speculation about his existence. Only one mountaineer and a handful of locals have ever caught sight of him because the Yeti values privacy. That’s why he didn’t hesitate when the Internet Explorer team tracked him down with the help of Bing and asked for his help.
Living Habits:
The Yeti lives in natural caves in crevasses, which he likes to decorate tastefully.
In his free time, he enjoys making ice sculptures or playing a Tibetan board game
„Sa-gnon rNam-bzhags“ with local monks.
Food:
Snow partridges, mountaineers’ sandwiches.
Favorite Drink:
Icicles.
The Internet is a dangerous place now, just like the Himalayas. I see more and more mountain tourists trampling around, getting on my nerves. They can’t see me because I’m invisible in the snow. My coat can change between 120 different shades of snow in a matter of seconds. If you want to find me, you’ll have to use Bing.
Top Tip
You have to protect your privacy—in the Himalayas and especially on the Internet!
I showed the people from Microsoft how I make myself invisible and we used it as
a basis for this great feature:
InPrivate-Filterung
This prevents your online behavior from being tracked across multiple websites.
You can activate it for each session by selecting “InPrivate Filtering” from the
“Safety” menu in Internet Explorer 8. It only watches for and blocks third-party
content that appears with a high frequency on sites you visit. Depending on how
often you use the Internet, the amount of time it takes before such content is automatically
blocked can vary. You can select which third-party content is blocked or allowed
using the “InPrivate Filtering Settings” option in the “Safety” menu.
Don’t leave any footprints!
Download Internet Explorer 8 for free and use all the powerful features which safeguard your privacy and protect you from cyber attacks when you’re surfing the Internet.
Quotations from the experts:

Nessie: “Put a stop to phishing at last!”
Yeti: “Internet Esseplorrer jimbala!”
