Job Description:

This role sits in the team responsible for the management of the Microsoft Partner Network in Germany. While this group sits within SMS andP, it provides the infrastructure for partners across the entire Microsoft business.

The team’s main focus is to enable partners to realize their full business potential by the delivery of content, tools and infrastructure focused on the Microsoft business, technology and relationship to the partner community in Germany.
The MPN Event Manager will be responsible for the organization, execution and management of Microsoft Partner Network events. In addition, this person will assist in the organization and delivery of MPN related activities at other important partner conferences and meetings.

Below are selected activities that this role will be responsible for…
• Microsoft Partner Strategietagung- 65 percent
o Participate in the strategic planning of Partner Strategietagung for the next fiscal year
o Organize and deliver a minimum of 15 Partner Strategietagung events around Germany each year

• MPN Events- 35 percent
o Work with sales teams to deliver at least 6 Quality Boards, 10 Regional Partner Lounges and 2 Key Account Partner Briefings each year
o Deutsche Partnerkonferenz - Assist organizers of Deutsche Partnerkonferenz with internal communications
o Weekly TPAM Live Meetings - Manage delivery of weekly video conference with TPAMs including content and speaker coordination

Description of what is needed:

A minimum of 1-3 years experience working in a marketing team is required with previous event management and organization experience – preferably within the IT industry. A strong partner and/or customer service orientation is necessary. Must have ability to manage multiple tasks at once. Need to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Prior channel marketing and breadth partner program experience are beneficial. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal skills in German required. Strong English language skills preferred.
