Nowhere to Run! Being Front and Center and Making a BIG Splash.

There is nothing more important in life than communication skills. Whether it’s enhancing your relationships, growing your network, building your career, or influencing others, communication is a life skill.

Let this “force” be with you, by adopting a skill set that will capture the attention of any audience. Improve your ability to give people an experience in a learning environment.

Let us use this force for good by creating success for ourselves, our customers, students, and anyone within our sphere of influence. We are all in the same business – the business of training. We may not ever achieve perfection, but we can strive for it.

As Ernest Hemingway said, “We are all apprentices in a craft where no one ever becomes a master.” Join me for an opinionated look at communication and presenting.

MCT Presentation Skills Training

This is an opportunity for you to get feedback on your presentation style. In order to see as many of you as possible, five MCT’s will be seen each hour.

To make this effective, it is necessary to be on time and very prepared for the session. Your slides should be prepared on a USB stick to be projected on the screen.

Each person will only have 5 minutes to present an excerpt of a longer presentation on a business topic. Do not try to squeeze 20 minutes of content into 5 minutes. Just present a 5 minute slice of some longer content. There will be no time for you to offer background or context on this talk so please have it be self-explanatory. This will take 25 minutes of the hour.

Each person will get verbal feedback for 3 minutes for a total of 15 minutes. Each person will get 3 minutes of coaching for a total of 15 minutes. 10 minutes will be spent transitioning from one group to the next.

The schedule on Day 2 will be 8:30, 9:35, 10:45, 13:05, 14:10, 15:15, and 16:20 will be the last session of the day.
The schedule on Day 3 will be 8:30, 9:35, 10:45, 13:05, 14:10, and the last session of the day will be 15:15.

I invite you to join me for this round robin approach to presentation training.
