Microsoft’s Imagine Cup 2018 is our global student technology competition designed to be the stage to present your idea to the world.
2018 we will support you and your team, each team may be composed of up to three members, during our Student Innovation Hacks with guidance from Microsoft professionals. Winners of each Hack and the winner of the online competition will win great prizes.
This year our competition will focus on the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Big Data and MixedReality. However, you can also participate in the Wild Track and come up with something completely different. Whatever you are working on, we are looking forward to seeing your ideas becoming real. Code with purpose and show the world what you’ve got.
If you’ve got a great idea, assemble a great team and work hard to bring that idea to life. If you don’t have an idea yet – not problem. Join an existing team our team up with others and create something from scratch. Your idea could be the innovation, the world is waiting for.
Whatever your innovation is about, you can make an impact and win big – like, $100,000 big – with Imagine Cup. With prizing that includes material prizes, mentorship opportunities with industry leaders, an Azure grant and cash, Imagine Cup can help you take your project to the next level.
But how does it work? This year we offer you the possibility to participate in one of our Student Innovation Hacks where you will meet other participants and get support from Microsoft Professionals who will help you enhance your idea. The winner of each Hack will move on to the World Finals. Two additional slots at the World Finals in Redmond are awarded to the best project handed in through our Online Competition.
