Leigh Madden has over 25 years of experience in Information Technology, National Security, Critical Infrastructure Protection, and Special Operations in the public and private sectors.
Mr. Madden is a Senior Director with Microsoft Corporation where he leads the company’s U.S. Air Force business unit responsible for technology sales to the Air Force worldwide. Mr. Madden is also serves on the board of the BroadBay Group, an airborne ISR and services company. Mr. Madden has extensive experience in the information technology industry. While with EMC Corporation and VMware Inc., Mr. Madden was integral to the delivery of mission critical technology solutions to the US Government in support of national security objectives and citizen services.
Mr. Madden co-founded the Rappahannock Companies, a technology and security services firm serving clients worldwide. Mr. Madden was also a Senior Vice President at Applied Marine Technology, Inc (AMTI). Prior to the sale of the company to SAIC, he headed the company’s International and Homeland Security business unit.
Prior to leaving government service in 2000, Mr. Madden served for fifteen years as a Naval Special Warfare (SEAL) officer leading teams tasked with executing missions worldwide. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Middlebury College and a Master of International Public Policy from the Johns Hopkins University.
