In our next installment of the Saving Governments Money blog series, I’d like to shine a light on perhaps one of the easiest and most cost-effective ways that your organization can save money: By moving to an IP-based phone system.
Today, the tools we use to communicate are changing. A recent study conducted by the Pew Internet & American Life Project found that 35 percent of American adults now own a smartphone. Also in the U.S., the National Center for Health Statistics recently reported that more than 25 percent of U.S. homes rely solely on cell phones and no longer own a traditional telephone.
