Major crisis events require modern technologies to quickly reach and account for the safety and status of everyone, everywhere, at anytime. But in order to handle mass notification and share situational awareness during a major crisis, governments need to develop the next generation of communications tools to enable your teams to deliver the high level of responsiveness that citizens expect.
We invited David Edgar, Director of Federal Civilian and Education Sales and Ketan Joshi, Vice President of New Markets and Corporate Development from Microsoft partner AtHoc to the Microsoft Public Safety Symposium last spring. They presented their ideas on developing these third-generation communication tools for the field, and shared best practices.
Watch the video of their presentation to hear their ideas about new methods to enable timely and appropriate two-way communications with your first responders and citizens during an emergency or natural disaster.
