How do I use my SideWinder X6 Keyboard?
The SideWinder X6 Keyboard is a virtual command center giving you powerful programming and versatility to enhance your work or game play. It includes the following features:
A detachable number pad that you can connect to either side of the keyboard. You can use it as either a regular numeric keypad (keys are red), or as programmable macro buttons for gaming (keys are amber).
A Cruise Control key that you can use with another key to continue a key action without having to holding it down.
A Macro Record key you can use to start/stop recording a macro.
A Bank Switch key that you can use to switch between three programmable keyboard configurations (banks).
On the left side of the keyboard are two sets of Macro Key buttons. You can assign up to 12 macros to these keys.
Use the Macro Toggle key below to switch between the sets.
A Lighting Dial you can use to adjust the backlighting on your keyboard.
A Volume Dial you can use to adjust the sound level in your speakers or headphones.
You can switch between three banks of six programmable macro keys to assign up to 18 macros per profile. You can record any sequence of keystrokes—even standard chat messages and set your macros to repeat. Macros are stored on your hard drive and can be easily shared.
