How do I use my Explorer Touch Mouse?

use-explorer-touch-mouse

Made for Windows 7 and Windows 8, the Explorer Touch Mouse is optimized for high-speed four-way touch scrolling through long documents, spreadsheets and Web pages. You can breeze past what you don’t need with the flick of a finger, and stop with a gentle tap.
This mouse features three scroll speeds that use haptic feedback (light vibration that signals scrolling speed), with five customisable buttons and customisable right- or left-handed use. It also has a battery life of up to 18 months and comes with BlueTrack Technology® so it can be used just about anywhere, even on a rough wood surface or carpet.

Reassign mouse buttons

IntelliPoint software provides default commands for all of the mouse buttons. You can reassign some buttons to different commands or keyboard shortcuts to better fit your work style. You can also disable buttons you might press accidentally, such as the wheel button. For more information, see How do I reassign mouse buttons?

Store the transceiver

When you turn off the mouse, you can either keep the transceiver plugged into your computer’s USB port or store it in the storage space on the underside of the mouse.
