How do I use my Wedge Touch Mouse?

The Wedge Touch Mouse is designed to comfortably navigate Windows 7 and 8 using Microsoft’s touch technology. The design, materials, and superior craftsmanship provide a smooth, four-way touch scrolling and navigation experience in every direction.
The Wedge Touch Mouse is small enough to fit in your pocket while it also provides full functionality for your laptop or tablet when you’re on the go. As an added convenience, the Wedge Touch Mouse goes into “Backpack Mode” (low power mode) when it senses that it is no longer needed, for example when your PC or tablet is hibernating or shut down or when you toss it in your bag or tuck it into your pocket.
Additionally, the BlueTrack Technology® means your Wedge Touch Mouse can track on virtually any surface, whether you’re at your desk or in a coffee shop. The Wedge Touch Mouse connects with your tablet or laptop via Bluetooth® technology, so you can use it anywhere without taking up a USB port, and without the clutter of cables, wires, or transceivers.

Connect your Wedge Touch Mouse to your computer

  1. On the underside of your Wedge Touch Mouse, press the battery door release button, insert one AA alkaline battery (positive side first), and slide the door shut.
The BlueTrack Technology® light on the underside of the device turns on and flashes.
  2. Press and hold the Power/Connect button on the underside of the device for 3 to 5 seconds.
A small light on the back of the device blinks green and red alternately. This indicates that the device is discoverable to other Bluetooth devices within 6 minutes.
  3. On your computer, from the Start menu, select Control Panel, and in Category view, locate Hardware and Sound, and then select Add a device.
  4. When the device is listed, select it, and follow the instructions to complete the connection.
  5. When the device is successfully connected, Setup automatically downloads the IntelliPoint app to your computer. You can use this app to access and customize the features for your device.

Use four-way touch scrolling

The Wedge Touch Mouse features four-way touch scrolling, so you can scroll vertically and horizontally using the sleek touch strip. Flick up, down, and side to side to navigate spreadsheets, long documents, and Web pages.
To use the mouse, scroll slowly with a gentle swipe, or quickly with a flick of the finger. Then tap to stop.
