The Microsoft Mini Bluetooth® USB Transceiver is designed to work with other certified Bluetooth devices that share the same profiles.
Microsoft has tested many products with the Mini Bluetooth USB Transceiver. One set of test results from 2006 follows, including compatibility results and hardware setup instructions.
For information about connecting your Bluetooth peripheral, see the documentation included with your device. Microsoft does not provide support for connecting other manufacturers’ devices to the Microsoft Mini Bluetooth® USB Transceiver.
In these tests, Microsoft tested compatibility for synchronization, printing, and file exchange.

Fully compatible devices were able to consistently synchronize files, print a web page, and exchange files in the Microsoft test environment. Somewhat compatible
Somewhat compatible devices were able to perform most of these tasks. Some problems included:
