With the proliferation of different kinds of wireless technology, you might not even know whether or not your PC or Mac has a built-in Bluetooth® transceiver. Most new computers come with Bluetooth technology built-in or as an added option, but you can always check your computer specifications to make sure.

For PCs, you may be able to tell which version of Bluetooth software you have by checking the Start menu or Control Panel, while Macs all use the Mac version of Bluetooth software.
