The Magnifier on Microsoft mouse products is like a magnifying glass that is held up to your computer screen. With a simple press and hold motion, the Magnifier enlarges the area of your screen that fits inside the lens. You can easily adjust both the size of the lens and the level of its magnification. The Magnifier works in most* programs. Use it when you touch-up your photos or handle other detailed tasks.

Zoom (available on some Microsoft keyboards) makes it easier to zoom in for a closer look at documents, worksheets, photos, maps, and Web pages. It's intuitive to use—just slide a lever on the keyboard to enlarge content in the active window. The Zoom Slider enlarges everything on your screen, as long as the program you’re using supports zooming.
