Microsoft offers a flexible Intellectual Property (IP) licensing program in response to an increase in the industry's interest in licensing our growing technology portfolio. By expanding its IP licensing to address increased market demand within the consumer electronics industry, Microsoft is encouraging shared success by opening revenue-generating opportunities for Microsoft partners and licensees.

Microsoft Arc™ Mouse In the four years since Microsoft Hardware launched its Intellectual Property licensing business focused on End Brands and ODM/Contract Manufacturers, Microsoft technologies can be seen in a variety of third-party mouse and keyboard products. Many leading industry players (both End Brands and Contract Manufacturers) have taken a technology license from Microsoft. Microsoft’s Hardware division, in cooperation with our industry licensees, emphasize innovation, while respecting intellectual property.
