Prior to joining Microsoft, Gareth ran a large IT team in the UK National Health Service (NHS) for several years. He joined Microsoft’s UK NHS account team in 2002, then moved to the Windows Server business in the UK where he helped launch Windows Server 2008 and 2008 R2. In December 2010, he moved to the Northwestern U.S. to work at Microsoft’s corporate campus in Redmond, Washington, where he was responsible for marketing Virtual Desktop Infrastructure as part of the Server and Cloud team. He is now responsible for driving infrastructure products, including Windows 8, as part of the Microsoft Worldwide Health team.
