Dave Meyers is the Director of Business Development for Health and Human Services in the Health and Life Sciences group at Microsoft. Dave began his career at Microsoft in 1997 and is focused on the technical strategy, design and implementation of the Microsoft Connected Health and Human Services vision and framework -- collaborating with customers to transform their Health and Human Services delivery systems and realize their HHS enterprise architecture; enabling Microsoft partners in their HHS solution design and working with Federal and State agencies and with industry groups to formulate technical policy in the HHS domain.
He is actively involved in the national technical dialog on the ARRA / HITECH and PPACA legislation and driving solutions to provide greater access to health insurance and benefits and to enable new models of care coordination. Dave is also involved with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services MITA development and MITA PS-TG, MITA-TAC, HSITAG, and other industry groups and has published several whitepapers, spoken at many industry events and participated in state and county studies on the topic of health and human services transformation.
