Microsoft @ APHSA ISM 2014 Must-sees

16 September 2014 | Andy Pitman, Microsoft Government Solutions

When you think Microsoft, you might just think Windows and Office. What you might not know is that our enterprise, cloud services, and mobile offerings are at the heart of many health and human services (HHS) programs.

For example, you might not realize that our database platform is at the root of many state Medicaid management information systems (MMIS) and that we recently announced a mobile health management solution that will help Medicaid patients improve health outcomes. Or, that our government cloud platform, Windows Azure, is being used for production workloads of HHS systems across the globe. You may also not know that customer relationship management (CRM) solutions based on Microsoft technologies are supporting case management for an ever-expanding list of HHS agencies.

But you can learn about all of this and more at the upcoming IT Solutions Management for Human Services Conference, September 21–24 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Microsoft @ ISM 2014 – Booth 212/214 (Hyatt Regency Atlanta)

At ISM, you can find out how innovative technologies from Microsoft are helping HHS professionals improve the health and quality of life for those they serve. There, you can hear from the Mississippi Department of Mental Health (DMH) and Microsoft partner CoCENTRIX. Leaders from both organizations will share how DMH is not only more effectively engaging patients, but also closing the clinical loop through monitoring individuals’ progress against their care plans using CoCENTRIX CARETILES, a mobile app supported by Microsoft Dynamics CRM. They’ll be speaking on Consumer Engagement in Health and Human Services: Why closing the loop is essential to achieving the triple aim in Conference Room Hanover AB at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta on Tuesday, September 23, 11:30am – 12:30 pm. Add this session to your calendar now!

You can also check out the latest and greatest in mobile offerings firsthand at our Windows device bar in booth 212/214. Stop by and find out how today’s mobile solutions are helping caseworkers be more productive with enterprise-grade functionality and consistent experiences across smartphones, tablets, desktops, and more. While you’re there, enter a drawing for a chance to win a Microsoft Surface device.

Microsoft Experience Center (MEC)

September 22-23 | Hyatt Regency Atlanta I Executive Conference Room 226

At ISM, you can also attend a complimentary Microsoft® Experience Center (MEC) Workshop Session, where you can get real world experience with the Microsoft Business Productivity Platform. Orchestrated through a series of day-in-the-life scenarios and common business challenges, MECs help you experience what’s possible with Microsoft provided solutions. What’s so valuable about these 45-minute sessions is that you get a hands-on experience of modern technologies and how they can help you provide connected, efficient services to improve outcomes.
