Collectively you led several thousand technical launch events to well over half a million community members in 112 countries! We hope the training content and launch kit materials were beneficial to you and the technical communities you lead. Throughout late August, many pieces of the Heroes Community Launch training content will migrate to the new Community Launch Portal described below. All kits have shipped and our alias is now closed. The Heroes {Community} Launch TechNet Plus Direct subscription offer expired on June 30, 2008 and is no longer valid. We look forward to working with you on the upcoming Community Launch efforts over the next 12 months. DRIVING THE NEXT COMMUNITY LAUNCH SERIES: MICROSOFT USER GROUP SUPPORT SERVICES (UGSS)
Microsoft User Group Support Services (UGSS) will power the next Community Launch series. In addition to Community Launch initiatives, UGSS provides a process and a portal that helps improve the quality of content available to User Group Leaders worldwide as well as a rich set of tools to help manage your groups. UGSS partners with Microsoft product teams to provide content built specifically for User Group events (demos, discussion presentations and other content). This content is free to User Group Leaders and available through the {UGSS Connect portal}. IT Pros can access IT Pro related content on UGSS through this TechNet link. Developers can access Developer specific content on UGSS through this MSDN link.
