Hong Kong Education Manpower Bureau (EMB), Centre for Information Technology in Education (CITE) and Microsoft Hong Kong Limited successfully co-hosted the "School Leader Development Series (VII): A symposium on e-leadership stories" workshop on 25 November, 2006. We have over 200 principals, mid-level management teachers, IT team members who participated in this event. We are honored to invite Mr. Don Hall, the Executive Director (CIO) for Information Technology in Kent School District to share his experience in using technology to improve instruction. Furthermore, we invited Prof. K. M. Cheng, Chair Professor of Education and Senior Advisor to the Vice-Chancellor, HKU and Mr. Ma Siu Leung, Chief Executive Officer, Fung Kai Public School to share with us some tips on how to utilize IT on e-leadership and lead the IT projects.

We invited 4 local principals to share with us their insights on how to become a digital leader and introduce the 4 elements to be aware of in the IT education process, including "unleash innovation", "team building", "multiple roles of being a leader" and "the significance of 'digital' in IT leadership".
