eOpen License Tool


The eOpen Customer Site is a secured web environment for Customers to view their official open license status and agreements. Features accessible from the eOpen Customer Site are view License Information, Change Password, Request Lost Password. Within each feature is expanded functionality that will allow customers to view their open license agreements, view license details and returns, update or add comments, change the contract name, download license information and print license statements.

Access to view customer details on eOpen requires a valid Open License authorization number and license number. Customers will receive their authorization number and password information in Order Confirmation form retrievable via secure website by Microsoft to the Distributors - Resellers - End customers.

Accessing the eOpen Home Page

Access to the eOpen Home Page does not require an authorization number or password. To access the eOpen Home Page:
  1. Launch Internet Browser
  2. Once the browser is open, enter in the eOpen Customer site address https://eOpen.microsoft.com
    Note: since eOpen is a SECURE SITE, you must use "https" as oppose to "http"
  3. You will need to use the passport login
    Note: If you do not have a passport account, please create one
  4. Once you have done so, you can key in the Authorization number and License Number to view your original license on the website
